The pictures below are of the very first SWORD OF THE
LORD CLUB VIDEO TRAINING SEMINAR. It was conducted
in Kathmandu, Nepal on March 7, 2010. We had (165) in
attendance with more than (90) persons traveling in from
outlying areas. The response was tremendous, with many new
Sword of The Lord Clubs being started already throughout the
region. As the Club ministry spreads throughout Nepal, we
expect to win and disciple many thousands of children and teens
for the Lord.
We appreciate Brother Padam for his excellent effort in
organizing and conducting this ground-breaking seminar. He is
now traveling throughout the region meeting with the newly
formed Clubs. Please pray for our work in Nepal. The
opportunity there is virtually endless.
Shanti Poudel, Brother Padam's
wife, is a missionary worker bringing agricultural
improvements, water purification and medical attention to
remote villages in the mountains of Nepal as she also brings
the message of Jesus Christ. In some villages, there are no
schools at all and the many needs of the children create
great opportunities for the gospel to be shared and
accepted. The Sword of The Lord Club and Old Path Mission
are poised to reach many thousands of children and teens
along with their families throughout Nepal. Please pray
with us as we trust the Lord for the means to do His work
both socially and spiritually in Nepal and around the world.

Blood Drive
Dear Friends,
In the name of Jesus,
good greetings from Nepal! Recently, we conducted a
blood donation program in Kathmandu, Nepal. A series of
general strikes from the UCPN (Moiest) political faction
created a serious shortage of blood in our Red Cross
blood banks, so they called us urgently. Old Path
Mission and The Sword of The Lord Club organized and we
collected 253 pounds of blood for this current
emergency. Nepal Red Cross gave us technical support and
we provided each blood donor with fruit and juice and a
letter of appreciation.
This effort was very
effective and most major political parties and local
clubs and civil societies participated together under
our banner and expressed appreciation for our work. We
need to conduct this type of program regularly to
encourage people for social and humanitarian work.
Finally, we thank our Pastor Jim and Sister Carolyn for
their continued prayer and support for the Nepal
Ministry.

Good morning and thank you for
your prayers. Just one hour ago I came in Kathmandu , in
Middle part of Nepal Maknapuwer, where I will visit this Thursday,
Friday and Saturday. The area is Ethinic Group area where they
survive without school or even drinking water.
They are planning small churches
in Asish and Makwanpur, with 60 Christian families and
200-220 children. I have given them support on behalf of the Sword
of the Lord Club and have started three Sword of the Lord Clubs during
my stay. I am also training others to teach Sword of the Lord
Clubs.
I have plans to visit another church in the
area to speak with the pastor about starting a Sword of the Lord Club
there. I will take some children's Bibles from Gideon
International, notebooks, pencils and ribbons.
Thank you for your continued prayer for us
in Himalayan Kingdom Nepal.
Thank you ,
With Blessings ,
Padam Raj
Nepal is one of the most visited travel destination in
South Asia, which, although a Hindu country, is a
complex and unique blend of Hindu and Buddhism.
Their culture is very unique and is showcased in all
aspects of their lives.
Nepal is home to eight of the
world's fourteen highest mountains, including the
highest, Mt. Everest, which stands at 29,029 feet.
The Himalayan mountain range extends across the country
from eastern to the western edge. The mountain ranges of
Nepal also draw tourists for spiritual reasons.
There is so much to do in Nepal
including ballooning, bungee jumping, canyons, ice
climbing, rock climbing and much much more. You
can experience its famous heritage sites and monuments,
explore the cities, tour its national parks and
reserves, visit jungle safaris, stay at wildlife resorts
and enjoy its many festivals.
